Ectopic Pregnancy Following Laparoscopic Tubal Sterilization


Abstract
This study was undertaken for clinical analysis of 38 women with ectopic pregnancy after laparoscopic tubal sterilization who were admitted and treated at Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Seoul Red Cross hopital from Janunary, 1990 to
December,
1994.
@ES The results were as follows:
@EN 1) Among 305 ectopic pregnancy, 38 cases(12.5%) were found to had had laparoscopic tubal sterilization.
2) The ectopic pregnancy after laparoscopic tubal sterilization was found to occur most frequently in 30~34 years of age(39.5%).
3) The low abdominal pain was the most common chief complatint(94.7%).
4) the most frequent missed period was before 6 weeks (44.7%).
5) Cykdicebtesus was oisutuve ub 81.5%.
6) On implantation site, ampullary portion was 78.9%, isthmic portion was 15.9% and ovary was 2.6%.
7) 89.6% of all cases was treted with salpingectomy and 2.6% with total hysterectomy.
